Cordelia likes to talk?
. . . Everything you've heard is true.
and if you care enough to see it, you'll be seeing a lot of talking about Amadeus (1984)
In 1979 Peter Schaffer released a play called Amadeus, inspired by the rumors that Antonio Salieri had murdered Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart. By the 80s the Czech-American film director Milos Forman saw the play and decided that it should be made into a movie. And there it was! In 1984, the film Amadeus was released to the world, and it was a hit! It won eight Oscars and was one of the few examples in Oscars history where both lead actors were nominated for best actor. My mother saw it with her family when it came out, and it made Mozart a big part of her childhood, so of course she made me watch it last year. It hasn't even been a full year since I had first seen it yet, but Amadeus has changed my life. Here's a great reading of the play. I love Paul Scofield as Salieri. My only complaint about this one is that it includes one of the earlier endings of the play. (The final one was the best.)

Things to know
- Amadeus is extremely innacurate, especially when it comes to Salieri. Please know that Salieri was actually a pretty cool guy, and that he did not kill Mozart.
- I take singing lessons, and I am learning Italian for it. (I am not good yet)
- I also love things like Death Note, and I really love Kate Bush.
